Audrey Miller didn’t expect to hit a career milestone this quickly, but the moment came sooner than planned.
“I was honestly a little surprised,” Miller said. “I wasn’t expecting to reach it so quickly into the season.”
The achievement had been in the back of her mind since the start of the year. While the timing was uncertain, the confidence in eventually getting there never wavered.

“I wasn’t exactly sure when I was going to reach it, but I knew it would be sometime this season,” Miller said. “It was definitely a goal of mine that I knew I was capable of achieving.”
For Miller, the accomplishment wasn’t a solo act. Teammates and hitters played a central role, and she was quick to credit the group effort.
“I would like to recognize all of my teammates and hitters for helping me achieve this accomplishment,” Miller said. “Their hard work and ability to score off my sets is what made this possible.”
The milestone adds to a strong start for Miller and sets the tone for the rest of the season. The Cubs are off to a competitive 11-5 start, and with momentum building, both the Miller and the Lady Cubs’ volleyball team are looking to carry the success into a postseason push.
