Another season of the NFL is almost here and every team is trying to figure out how to win the Super Bowl. Tom Brady and the New England Patriots will try to win their sixth Super Bowl since 2001 while local teams like the Indianapolis Colts and the Cincinnati Bengals are trying to make it back to the playoffs.

Indianapolis Colts quarterback Andrew Luck has had injury problems the last two years and the Colts have not been as competitive as they were when he was healthy. His timeline for return is uncertain despite the regular season being a couple of weeks away.

During the offseason the Colts named Chris Ballard the new general manager while drafting Ohio State safety Malik Hooker and Southern Florida running back Marlon Mack. The Colts really need Andrew Luck to stay healthy if they want to improve on last year’s 8-8 record In his first three years in the league, the Colts went 11-5 each season, making it farther by one round each season. For the last two years, they have posted identical 8-8 records and missing out of the playoffs both seasons.

Meanwhile, the Cincinnati Bengals missed out on last year’s playoffs, but they added some talent through the NFL draft selecting Oklahoma running back Joe Mixon, Washington wide receiver John Ross, and Kentucky running back Stanley Williams.

The Super Bowl champion New England Patriots are trying to figure out how to win their sixth Super Bowl since 2001. Tom Brady turned 40 earlier this August and has shown no signs of slowing down. The Patriots do not have significant roster changes.
