This week a rumor has been spreading around campus. Word had spread that incoming principal, Michael Gasaway, is planning on changing the dress code for the school. The rumored change is that leggings, tank-tops, skinny jeans, and many shorts would no longer be allowed.

MCHS assistant principal, Ms. Jill Deputy said,  “I think it’s just a rumor. We have a dress code policy in our handbook that we will be using again next year. So, I don’t know if any major dress code changes will be happening. There may be some talk about enforcing our policy a little better, but as far as I know, (there is) no truth to the rumor that there will be major changes to the dress code policy.”
