It’s no surprise to see the name Trump in a headline. Except instead of the name Donald, it is sometimes replaced with the name Ivanka, Donald Trump’s 35 year old daughter, former model and now businesswoman who will be taking over her father’s company as he is president. Ivanka, being the head of the Trump company, was invited to sit in on the meeting between Trump and the Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo in Manhattan’s Trump Tower. A photo taken of the meeting, with Donald and the Japan representatives sitting on a couch while Ivanka sits solo across from the group, is causing major interest and confusion. Many people are questioning why she would even be in same room in the first place with the political leaders.

The 60 Minutes television show presented a special involving an interview with Ivanka. To make her presence even more questionable, she followed the interview with an promoting advertisement of her jewelry brand. The $10,800 bracelet she marketed did not help her image of business but convinced many that she is not seeing the sudden fame of her father’s presidency as a country’s leadership but as a marketing opportunity. Ivanka’s latest acquisition of an office in the White House crying nepotism and impropriety.

Abigale Wynn, a graduate of MCHS said, “I’m disappointed. What she does can be considered liberating, empowering, even just a great career. However, for a woman who is an international figure to be called ‘First Trump’ and more on the news and is photographed nude in photos with more women is sad to me. It makes me nervous for the little girls growing up right now, since we grew up with brilliant women. I don’t like how she will be representing our country in that light.”

Thousands of women across the world have given their full opinion, good or bad, on Ivanka through social media and protests. Even though many question her odd presence, several others have seen her as an inspiration.

A trend in the plastic surgery industry have seen a decline in Kim Kardashian lookalikes and  sudden uproar in Ivanka wannabes. The wave of surgery isn’t as popular on the west coast or in Miami but very mainstream in Texas. The top five media stars that have their features copied on average Americans contain the Kardashians, Beyonce and third, the Trumps. Some even have been known to spend an estimate of $30,000 to $60,000 for the Trump look.

The Trump family came to the inauguration with an ocean of the signature Trump support baseball caps flooding around them.  Countless protests had crowded the streets of the country’s capital with more on the way for the ceremony. Trump hosted his Thank You Tour by charging tickets to attend across the U.S. and ending in Washington D.C. The world is biting their nails, curious to see just how the Trump Empire will change this country and how the new First Family will take care of the country and, also,  the financial throne they sit upon.
